The Fat and Furious

Our group is made up of family members, we are all local to Harrogate. We are doing the challenge not only to raise money for our selected charity Mind; but we are all doing it to prove to ourselves we are capable of rising to the challenge as, if you know us, it is VERY out of our comfort zone. None of us are athletic or fit in any shape or form, so this is going to give us the drive and motivation to change for a good cause. More than anything we would love to raise awareness of mental health. Our main inspiration for stepping up to the challenge was our cousin Emily Taylor who completed the challenge on 24/06/18 in memory of her father, and our uncle, David Taylor. She also did a grand job of fundraising and supporting the charity mind as well. Uncle David, we hope we do you proud!

Fundraising for Mind

We will be raising money for Mind, we feel our selected charity would be perfect for us as we all know someone close to us affected by mental health problems, and its about time we tried to make a difference. One of our main goals is to raise awareness about mental health as stated above, we've all been affected by it. Mind are a great charity who are there for people suffering from mental health problems, they give advice and support and are always there to listen. They have supported millions of people worldwide.
