I am attending the World Scout Jamboree in 2019 to West Virginia and Is completing the walk with another participant, Simon, as a fund raising opportunity. The other members are supporters and are coming to make sure we stay safe.
We are fundraising to send two scouts (myself and Simon) to represent the UK in travelling to West Virginia for the World Scout Jamboree. The World Scout Jamboree is a very large camp where 43,000 scouts form all over the world come together on a 70,000 acre site. The money that we are fundraising for will be used for our flights, accommodation and kit, but some of the funds will be used to fund the costs for scouts from third world countries For this very important event in the scout calendar. Each of us needs to raise £3800, and this walk will help us towards our goal as well as achieving something memorable.
