James and Sofia pedal to the peaks

We are really good friends, both into adventures, lovers of hikes and cycling. We love a challenge and we like pushing and supporting each other. We love the feeling of standing at the top of a mountain and feeling like you are on top of the world!

Fundraising for Kidney Research & City of Bristol Rowing club

We (James & Sofia) have lost our heads and decided to take on the ULTIMATE challenge. Over the course of 4 days (max) we will be taking on the UK three highest peaks and pedalling the distance of c500 miles in between them. Our motivation is to raise money for a charity that is extremely close to our hearts, Kidney Research. In case you are not familiar with them, they have done amazing work to combat kidney disease. 'Kidney disease is a silent killer. There are three million people in the UK with it right now, and there is no cure.' In addition, 25% of the donations will be going to our beloved Charity, City of Bristol Rowing Club. As keen rowers, Trustees and Committee members, we see first hand the amount of work that volunteers put in every day to enable members to row. The Club is currently oversubscribed, due to a high demand from Bristolians. With its current facilities and equipment the club is operating at full capacity and struggling to meet demands from all squads. Therefore, we are hoping that our efforts will contribute to the Club's amazing project to expand its facilities, fleet and equipment, allow for new members to join and for current members to more freely and comfortably enjoy the sport.
