Golina Challenge

We are 3 fit, active and healthy young men looking for a new challenge. Within the group we have 2 individuals who have graduated last summer, one with a BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy & Rehabilitation degree and one with a BSc (Hons) Mathematical degree. Our third participant has recently graduated this summer after 5 years of studying medicine. We are partaking in the National 3 peaks challenge closely followed by the tough-mudder challenge to help fundraise money for a very close friend who is an aspiring Paralympic equestrian/dressage sportsman.

Fundraising for Michael Murphy Para Trust

We are fundraising for a young man named Michael Murphy. Michael is an aspiring Paralympian who suffers from a rare disorder called Dejerine-Sottas along with a double spinal fusion. Michael has no saving reactions, little peripheral sensation, very little muscle tone and strength, but he does not let this hold him back! He really enjoys riding and particularly competing for Ireland. Michael recently represented team Ireland and he finished 3rd in Hartpury CPEDI3* International. In the past he has competed successfully at National and International level including holding the title of youngest in the world to win a 2* International. Along with being a torch bearer for The 2012 Olympics. www.michaelmurphy.org.uk fb: Michael Murphy Dressage page: Michael Murphy Para Trust.
