Brits for Brains

Brits for Brains are a group of friends living in the Bronte country who have had the misfortune to have known, loved and lost people close to them through inoperable Brain Tumours in recent years. Very much amateur climbers, we are setting ourselves the challenge to train up to and climb the National 3 Peaks in under 24hrs in the summer of 2019, finishing the challenge by climbing Snowdonia via the infamous Crib Goch Ridge. We are already in training for the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge which we will be completing in Sep-18. We are raising money for the amazing Brain Tumour Charity Trust - a fantastic charity who have raised £millions to take the battle directly to this awful illness, including (but by no means limited to): - Crucial and pioneering R&D - Investing and implementing schemes to promote early diagnosis and maximise chances of operability - Supporting families to cope with the loss, or prospect of loss of a loved one As a team, we hope to raise £3,000 through sponsorship of our taking on the N3PC, the costs of which we are funding ourselves in entirety. We will be augmenting the fundraising via the odd coffee & cake days for neighbours and other small initiatives, however the focus of the campaign will be the N3PC.
