The Peaky Bankers

We are a team of six Lloyds Banking Group colleagues - Amanda, Samantha, Keri, Stephen, Jonathan and Gail. On 29th June we will be walking the Welsh 3 Peaks - Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen Y Fan to raise funds to help promote awareness of the link between mental health and money problems and to encourage conversations around this.

Fundraising for Mental Health UK

Mental illness affects more people every year than cancer or heart disease. One in four of us in the UK will be affected by a mental health problem in any given year, and of these around 4 million will also struggle with their financial wellbeing. Mental Health UK has been able to design, build and launch a pioneering new service called Mental Health and Money Advice. This service is the UK's first advice service dedicated to helping people understand, manage and improve their financial and mental health. Through early intervention, the impact of poor mental health can be reduced. Just £5 will allow 8 people with money and mental health problems to access online templates to help them gain additional support from this service. £500 enables 1,000 people to better manage their spending using the savings calculator on the website.
