Fundraising pageThe Favela Foundation - Co-founded by Matt, was set up to contribute to the development and growth of sustainable educational projects in the favelas of Brazil. Matt and the other trustees were inspired to found The Favela Foundation by their shared experience of volunteering in Rocinha, Brazil's largest favela, and seeing first hand the amazing work that local NGOs do to provide much needed access to education to the residents of favelas such as Rocinha Alzheimer's Society - Alzheimer's and other dementias were the UK's leading cause of death in 2015, and a number of us have experienced the harrowing impacts of Alzheimer's first hand. The Alzheimer's society provides amazing support to those affected, alongside providing invaluable research funding for the care, cause, cure and prevention of dementias.
