Drastic No Plastic

Sky’s Group Security department have got together to take teamwork outside of the office. We have decided to enter two teams into the Three Peaks Challenge and race to see who can do it the fastest. In true Sky spirit, we will be conducting this challenge fund raising for three different charities, Sky Ocean Rescue’s official partner WWF, St. Luke’s Hospice (Plymouth) and the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH). Also, in keeping with our passion for looking after the environment, we will ensure with use of recyclable materials throughout and conduct litter picks on each trek our teams will go on.

Fundraising for Sky Ocean Rescue/WWF - SAMH - St. Luke’s Hospice

As members of Sky we are proud to support Sky Ocean Rescue and its official partner WWF due to the enormous importance of their work. Fighting the war on plastics is vital and by doing our bit we hope to set a standard and change the mind sets of individuals regarding the use of unnecessary plastics and the effects they cause to the environment. The other two charities, St. Luke’s Hospice and SAMH, are reflective of things that have personally affected us as a team and as a result we are very passionate about. We are going to do our utmost to smash this challenge in good time, raising money and providing visibility for our charities that you may have otherwise not heard about.
