bet365 Studio Department

Following the awful news of Greg Smith’s (a colleague) diagnosis of terminal cancer in early January, and the terrible untimely passing of Darren Wells (a colleague) in February, 10 Studio colleagues were motivated to raise as much money as possible for their chosen charities – Prostate Cancer UK and Cancer Research UK by completing the 3 Peaks Challenge between the 17 – 20 April, which involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon). Both Gregory and Darren were not only colleagues, but friends to so many people who had the pleasure to work alongside them at bet365, and this has left a hole in the Studio Department and many other people’s lives. We ask you kindly to please dig deep in your pockets and make a contribution, which will not only help these charities in their work and research into reducing the effect of cancer overall, but also improving care for cancer patients, resulting in greater survival, but also cement in our memories what great people we have lost.

Fundraising for Cancer Research and Prostate Cancer UK

We have all being touched by or know of someone that has been affected by cancer and statistics suggest that more than half of us in England will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetimes, with over 280,000 new diagnoses every year, a number which has been growing by around 2% per annum, so please help us smash our target!
