We are walking with our son who is raising money for a self funding school trip to Romania in June. He and a group of class mates will be working with the charity Cry in the Dark. This not a typical 'school field trip' the Year 10 students from Manor Academy in York are part of a Leadership Group taking part in a unique life changing experience. It will provide with a fantastic sense of purpose, as they run & plan activities for young adults with mental disabilities, work with children in a Roma village, assisting with a building project & help distribute food to adults in a state run institution.
Fundraising pageCry in the Dark provides exciting and innovative projects which provides hope and change to the lives of children and families in Romania.
