We are two young women wanting to undertake a personal challenge, and to raise money for a charity close to our hearts.
Fundraising pageSafeline is a charity which supports those who have experienced sexual abuse. We chose this charity as we believe there is not enough support and services for survivors. We also want to raise awareness of the issue of sexual abuse and show survivors there is nothing to be ashamed of and there is help out there. Unfortunately, charities supporting survivors are underfunded. Safeline offers services to everybody, regardless of age, gender, sexuality or race, whilst also working with family and friends of those affected. They offer counselling, helplines, Independent Sexual Violence Advisors (ISVAs), training for professionals and prevention projects.
