The Three Peaky Blinders

A group of outdoor enthusiasts (nutters) in the Thames Water have elected to spend twenty four hours in extreme discomfort for “fun”. We have also duped some other fools from outside the company into joining us. This will definitely provide the strongest of tests of the team’s physical and mental strength and endurance, but in order to help others we are ready to take up this challenge.

Fundraising for Water Aid

844 million people lack a basic drinking water service and two billion people globally use a drinking water source that is contaminated with human faeces. Right now, some of the world’s poorest and most marginalised people don’t have clean water to drink, decent toilets or hygiene. WaterAid has teams in 34 countries across the world, working with our partners to transform millions of lives every year by improving access to clean water, toilets and hygiene. As part of our team’s spirit we embrace Thames Water’s values and the company’s involvement with Water aid improvement projects and we are proud to do our part to help. Therefore, we are committed to dedicate our spare time to prepare for this challenge to ensure that we complete it within given time frames and achieve our fundraising target.
