Katie's brother Tom (21) was killed in an accident in work in January. He had promised to do the Challenge with her this summer. Now, his best friends have stepped in to do it with her on what would be Tom's 22nd birthday. They want to celebrate his birthday and his amazing life and hopefully raise some money for the families nominated charity too.
Fundraising pageThis is a small charity local to where Tom lived. Its vision is for children and young people with learning disabilities to recognise their potential, be ambitious and be provided with the opportunities to follow their dreams. The charity focuses on children’s abilities, growing and developing skills through the delivery of creative and interactive events, dreams and workshops. Tom can't follow his own dreams now ( and he had lots of them) but hopefully others will be able to in his memory.

The Welsh Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing Snowdon, Cadair Idris and Pen y Fan in the same day, either over 24 or 12 hours.
