We are a small military team serving with the Royal Corps of Signals, based at MOD Corsham in Wiltshire. We have decided to attempt a challenge and raise funds for a local charity at the same time. The National Three Peaks challenge was at the top of our UK list.

The Air ambulance unit which covers the county are not funded by the government and so are dependent on charitable donations. Currently the police and air ambulance share the same aircrafts and in the near future the police will be splitting from this arrangement and will take the aircraft with them. This has forced the air ambulance section to scope the cost of new aircrafts, so their need for donations is ever more important. Members of our team have had personal experience of the air ambulance so we realise what a great service they provide, especially to some of the more remote rural areas of Wiltshire. For this reason the Wiltshire Air Ambulance is our chosen charity.
