Three Peaks Challenge for Mind

We are aged 18 and 17 and still at school, we are both keen runners and run cross country for Sussex. We are undertaking the challenge with a view to hopefully challenging for a junior record. We decided to take on the challenge because we realised we had not quite appreciated the beauty and sheer scale of the mountains in the UK and we really want to prove we can stand up against them and be counted.

Fundraising for Mind - The Mental Health Charity

Mind is a wonderful charity with a crucial mission: to empower those suffering from mental health problems and give them the help they need and really deserve. Everyone deserves to feel wanted and to feel as though they have a place in this world. Mental health problems are such a crucial issue that is one of the biggest problems facing young people in the UK. The support groups and talking therapies offered in the UK are incredibly important and really make a huge difference to those suffering but there are simply not enough of these crucial support structures and Mind are aiming to change this. We are doing this challenge to raise money for Mind but also to raise awareness of mental health problems.
