Cardiac Intensive Care is located at University Hospital Southampton. We are a unit specialised in caring for patients post cardiac surgery. Due to the nature of our patients being critically unwell vital rehabilitation equipment is needed to support their recovery. A team of Doctors, Nurse's, Physiotherapists and occupational therapists aim to complete the Yorkshire Three Peak Challenge in June 2017 to raise money for much needed rehabilitation equipment. The team involved range in age and physical ability. We are excited to undertake this challenge as a team and look forward to the difference the rehabilitation equipment will make to our patients recovery with your help.
