Leisure Trust Troopers

We are a group 12 of staff, members and friends from Nuneaton & Bedworth Leisure Trust and Empire Gym & Studio's. I (Nikki Lea) decided to put together a 'crack' team of fitness professionals and enthusiasts to tackle the 3 Peaks Challenge in memory of my Mum. Other members of the team have dedicated it to people personal to them too. We also roped in Mike (Maverick) and Bob (Goose) to be our dedicated drivers for the challenge......may the force be with us!

Fundraising for Macmillan and Cancer Research

We have set ourselves a target of at least £500 and upon completion the funds raised will be divided equally between the 2 charities. We all know someone personally who has been affected by cancer, or lost someone to this terrible illness. Following my Mum's death in January, whilst cancer was not the direct cause, she had previously undergone a battle with cancer requiring intensive radiotherapy amongst other treatments. Both Macmillan and Cancer Research were charities dear to her, that she supported. So, at her funeral in January I decided to put forward a challenge to raise funds in her memory.
