English UK Three Peaks Challenge #euk3peaks

We are work colleagues from English UK, the national association of English teaching schools. We are attempting the challenge in memory of our late Chief Executive, Eddie Byers. And hopefully raising money for charity at the same time.

Fundraising for Eddie Byers Scholarship

The team wanted to do a challenge together in Eddie's memory and raise money for the Eddie Byers Scholarship, created as a lasting legacy in his name. Eddie wanted English UK to create a scholarship to give students from around the world the chance to study English in the UK. He believed that education transforms people's lives and thought a scholarship would support the charitable purpose of our association. We chose the Three Peaks Challenge as it starts in Scotland where Eddie was from and travels around the island of Great Britain. This seemed an apt tribute to a man who made it his mission to personally visit as many English UK members as possible!
