Jules, Sara and Mark

Sara, Mark and Julia are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on the 26th August! We are 3 moderately fit people and training like hell so we can try and enjoy this as much as possible (and definitely finish it in one piece!).

Fundraising for Calais Youth Service

We are raising money for the Calais Youth Service, a voluntary organisation based in Calais and Dunkirk who are working with children and young people who are refugees. A walking challenge seems apt when you consider the journeys many of these children have made to find themselves in Northern France. They made their journeys from different starting points, each with their own individual story, all of them hoping to find a place of refuge where they could be safe. These children are the real victims of the horror of war. The reality is that thousands of refugee children have disappeared: Calais refugee youth service is working to support these young people to find safety and creates a space for them to begin to enjoy their lives again.
