Denby CC, the 3 Peaks XI

Looking at the eleven names (+ Pip) we wouldn't be that bad a cricket team! The most important thing though is that the eleven of us represent the whole of the club: first team players, older and creakier second teamers, up and coming stars from the under 15s and some parents of junior section players. As for Pip, she's the best ball finder in Yorkshire!

Fundraising for Denby CC

Denby CC needs funds for refurbishing a very dilapidated kitchen and for buying a new practice net. Having completed the Lyke Wake Walk four years ago (and raised around £2000), Pud (Andrew Pickford) and I (Jimmy Gumpert) decided it was time for another sponsored walk. It had to be a proper challenge though, so here we are doing the National Three Peaks, aiming to raise £3000 for the mighty Denby CC.
