Fundraising for Help Oliver Walk

When Oliver was 4 months old he couldn't up his head. When the parent’s asked, they were told he was born premature so his progress was expected to be delayed. At 8 months old Oliver couldn't sit; again they were told that this was expected with a premature birth. When Oliver was one, he couldn't stand. Oliver was referred to a paediatrician, and diagnosed with Spastic quadriplegia of cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy can not be cured, but Oliver has been chosen as a good candidate for a life changing operation called Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy (SDR). The procedure isn’t funded by the NHS neither is the required post operation physiotherapy. The cost of the procedure by Great Ormond Street Hospital is £27k and the cost of rehabilitation £10k per year.
