Team Dench - Support Dogs

We are a group of family members and close friends who are from Weymouth, Dorset. We are all different ages and abilities but have come together to raise funds for the Supports Dogs charity in memory of Dan Dench, who died in 2013 from SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy). Dan Dench also took part in the three peaks challenge himself in 2006 for charity.

Fundraising for Support Dogs

'Support Dogs - Train Dogs to Transform Lives' for people with autism, physical disabilities and epilepsy. The three peaks is another part of our ongoing challenge to raise £18,000 for Support Dogs. £18,000 would cover the costs for a Seizure Alert Dog to be trained for someone with epilepsy. Once trained this dog will give their owner up to a 50 minute warning of a oncoming seizure, thus allowing them to get to a place of safety or call for help. Supports Dogs is the only organisation in the UK to train Seizure Alert Dogs.
