We are teachers , one semi-retired and one about to retire this summer. We live in Oldham and want to help disadvantaged children by completing the challenge. We decided to do the 3 Peaks as our D of E Diamond Challenge. Our son, William, is in the throes of his D of E Silver and we wanted to support him and his school - Crompton House in Shaw, Oldham.
Fundraising pageThe D of E Diamond Challenge 2016 is open to anyone (you can choose your own challenge) and is aiming to raise money to enable vulnerable and disadvantaged children to take part in the D of E bronze, silver or gold awards. Each participant is challenged to raise at least £60. Any donations welcome, of course: justgiving.com/Yorkshire-3-peaks2016
