Three Peaks Challenge Archive

Rosehill

This challenge took place on Friday, 10 June, 2016.

About the group

Rosehill Furniture Group have offered up a select group of intrepid explorers ( sadists) to attempt the Three Peaks Challenge . Walking , Trekking and maybe even crawling to reach the three summits in 24 hours is in aid of charities which are personal to the group however, very few can say they have not or will not be touched by Cancer somehow in their life. Hence we have decided to take this mammoth task on in the name of two charities , The Christie cancer hospital in Manchester and Action on Womb Cancer .
Well aware that this will be a huge challenge for this group who are likely to be looking for the nearest pub on completion , we hope you will support our efforts and review our page below to assist us in our goals to raise significant sums for our chosen charities .

Our fundraising page.

Fundraising for The Christie & Action on Womb Cancer

The Christie charity raises money for a wide range of projects and initiatives within the hospital.

The charity provides continuous funding for a number of projects and services throughout the hospital including the Cancer Information Centre, Wig Service, Art Room and Complementary Therapies.

We are also raising money for major developments including the Proton Beam Therapy centre and Integrated Procedures unit. Aswell as funding a new 3T MRI Scanner to better understand how cancer forms and give the Hospital a better view , in order to plan individualised patient treatments .

Action on Womb Cancer

This is new charity working hard to raise its profile and raise awareness of the the threat of Womb Cancer , also working with patients currently suffering to provide support and advice .
