Three Peaks Challenge Archive

Summit Happening

This challenge took place on Tuesday, 16 August, 2016.

Time completed: 23 hours 27 minutes.

About the group

Brothers Wayne and Ryan Singleton from Rotherham and James Keeley from Barnsley (originally Rotherham). We decided to 'do something different' and at the same time, raise money for our chosen charity, the Rotherham Hospice. This was a natural choice for us having personally lost friends and family to cancer and also the special connection with the town that the Hospice has.

Fundraising for Rotherham Hospice

The purpose of Rotherham Hospice is to enhance the quality of life of terminally ill patients and those important to them through specialist palliative care services and education. The Hospice is committed to achieving this by providing services for patients during the changing phases of their illness.
The Hospice relies on raising 2.2 million per year through fundraising in order to continue providing a free service to the people of Rotherham.
