3 Peaks for Cameron

We are a previously small Duke of Edinburgh award group from Coventry wanting to help raise awareness of young suicide and Mental Health. We are taking on this challenge in the Memory of Cameron Grant.

Fundraising for The Cameron Grant Memorial Fund & Mind

Outwardly happy, successful and fulfilled, Cameron sadly took his own life on 14 November 2014 after a lonely, 7-year battle with Depression. The Cameron Grant Memorial Trust is used to: raise awareness of young suicide, to urge all who are suffering in silence to speak up and ask for help, and to support young people who are fighting to overcome poor mental health, especially where this can be done through outdoor activities like hill-walking and The Duke of Edinburgh's Award which Cameron enjoyed so much. As well as raising awareness for Cameron we will be fund raising for Mind, the mental health charity who provide support to those who are experiencing mental health difficulties. I myself (Lauren Hughes) suffer from Bipolar Disorder and Mind have supported and are still supporting me through my illness. Now its time to help give something back to those causes who do so much.
