We all work for Marc Daniels Specialist Recruitment, a Thames Valley based recruitment consultancy that focuses on accountancy and finance roles. Pretty much the whole company is taking part in this challenge including Directors, Recruitment Consultants and Support staff. We’d like to think we’re a sporty bunch given we collectively play five-a-side footy and frequent the gym, but extreme walking is not something we have much experience of – and we are really excited to be taking on such an iconic challenge that will bring us all well and truly our of our comfort zone! We want to give something back to our community and will be fundraising for our charity partners Thames Hospice and Make-A-Wish® UK.
Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. A wish gives a desperately ill child and their family time away from the daily struggles of living with a serious condition. Since 1986, Make-A-Wish has turned the wishes of more than 9,000 seriously ill children into magical realities – creating memories to treasure forever, whatever the future may hold. http://www.make-a-wish.org.uk Thames Hospice has touched the lives of several of our employees.
