York Rescue Boat

Our team consists of operational volunteers the York Rescue Boat. We are committed to ensuring that our beautiful city remains a safe place for all of our residents and visitors. We all volunteer our time freely to provide proactive foot and boat patrols on and around the cities rivers at high risk times. Our aim from this event is to raise £5000 in order to equip our foot patrol personnel with adequate search and rescue and personal protective equipment.

Fundraising for York Rescue Boat

York Rescue Boat is a charity and organisation set up in York to provide a physical and proactive commitment to furthering the safety of the rivers in York. We aim to achieve this by means of a patrol and rescue boat, education and awareness. With future progression York Rescue Boat endeavors to provide a stand-by team that will respond as an auxiliary service to the 999 services in area’s of Search & Rescue and community flood assistance.
