Hi, thank you for visiting our page. We are raising vital funds for Pumping Marvellous a Charity which supports heart failure patients and their families. They are also placing defibrillators in our communities. Nick will be our Driver for the day, Isaac and Andrew will be walking and climbing. We each have a part to play, our success will depend on each other playing their part. We chose June 22 because it is a weekend with a full Moon, great for night walking. It also happens to be a "super" Moon, the largest of 2013. It is also one of the longest days of the year. Perfect for this challenge. We will be carrying a defribrillator with us so the mountains will be amongst the safest places to be in the country! Fundraising pagePumping Marvellous is a Charity that promotes awareness to Heart Failure Patients and their Carers surrounding the benefits of understanding and then utilising that knowledge to assist in the management of their condition. Pumping Marvellous promotes awareness of the symptoms of Heart Failure to the general public and medical profession to assist in early detection. Pumping Marvellous works within the “Primary Care” arena to drive diagnosed Heart Failure cases through to specialist cardiologists. Pumping Marvellous works with other charities to raise funds for facilities to support Heart Failure patients.
