3 Peaks Cycle Challenge

This challenge is due to take place on Thursday, 2 August, 2012.

About the group

We are a group of friends and family who have decided to do something big for charity!

After throwing around a few ideas we settled on this, 3 mountains, 500 miles of cycling in only 5 days.

In August we will set off to climb Ben Nevis and finish at the base of Snowdon after having climbed it and Scafell Pike and completed 500 miles of cycling.

Fundraising for Operational Smile and Compassion in World Farming

Operation Smile provides operations for children born with facial deformities. Their work is based in countries where these operations would not take place without Operational Smile's help. Medical professionals travel to some of the poorest countries in the world and change the lives of children by giving them a smile.

Compassion in World Farming was founded over 40 years ago in 1967 by a British farmer who became horrified by the development of modern, intensive factory farming.

Today they campaign peacefully to end all cruel factory farming practices. They believe that the biggest cause of cruelty on the planet deserves a focused, specialised approach.
