About the group

I am originally from Birkenhead on the Wirral and now reside down south.
I'm taking on this challenge to raise money for the Clatterbridge Oncology Unit, where my Dad has recently been treated.

Fundraising for the Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology

Although it is a local charity to the North West area I hope this doesn't stop you donating to a cause that is very worthy.

With 1 in 3 people being diagnosed with cancer at some point, there are so many people who have benefited from the treatment provided by Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology, the leading cancer treatment centre for people in that area.

They are dedicated to providing outstanding cancer care to around 26,000 patients each year at their centre in Wirral, Clatterbridge Cancer Centre Liverpool and at their network of chemotherapy units in hospitals across the region.

The money raised will help to offer the most up to date treatment, support vital research, treat their patients with world class equipment and provide life-changing support services that would otherwise be unavailable.
