3 Peaks in 3 Days for Aching Arms UK

In December last year, we faced unimaginable heartbreak. We learned our baby boy, Milo Kirkham, wouldn't be coming home as planned. Born sleeping on December 15th, 2023, at 6:22 pm, those following days were the most difficult of our lives. Saying goodbye to our perfect son in the hospital was an unbearable task. During this incredibly painful time, amazing charities offered support. Aching Arms, in particular, provided a beacon of comfort with a soft teddy, a small gesture that meant the world. While bringing home a teddy wasn't what we envisioned, it became a symbol of solace and a reminder we weren't alone on this journey. Through their community, my wife connected with other mothers who had experienced similar loss, a connection that has been invaluable in our healing process. Now, it's time to express our gratitude and give back. This July, I'll be taking on the National Three Peaks Challenge spread over three days. At each summit, I'll lay a white rose in memory of our precious Milo. Every penny raised will go directly to Aching Arms, helping them continue to support families facing similar unimaginable loss. Donations will provide teddy bears in Milo's name, with additional funds supporting their ongoing projects. Learn more about Aching Arms and their mission here: [achingarms.co.uk].
