Its In Nottingham 3 Peaks Net Zero

A team from Nottingham BID will be braving the Three Peaks Challenge on 29 June 2023 (that's Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon in 24 hours) and we'll be completing the challenge in an electric vehicle, thanks to Sandicliffe Nottingham who has kindly donated a Ford Mustang Mach-E for the net zero challenge! Fundraising for Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

Founded by country and western singer Dolly Parton, the main purpose of the scheme is to raise local child literacy levels and foster a love of reading in pre-school children. The book-gifting charity was introduced to the city in 2009 and now has more than 5,600 children, aged 0-5, registered to have a free book delivered to their door every month. Evidence confirms that the scheme delivers significant improvements in literacy and communications skills; but there are around 30,000 children below the age of five in the city. Therefore to help grow the scheme, and support Nottingham City Council’s Big Reading Challenge, which raised over £6,000, staff from Nottingham BID are supporting by undertaking the Three Peak Challenge.
