About the group

We are all members of the Uttoxeter Methodist Church. We wanted to raise money for the Church and Help for Heroes, as one of our group is in the RAF and going out to Afghanistan. We are all relatively fit and we wanted to challenge ourselves. We thought this was the challenge for us.

Fundraising for Help for Heroes and Uttoxeter Methodist Church

Uttoxeter Methodist Church required a large amount of modernisation costing in excess £250,000. Once this has been complete this facility will be open to the local community. Help for Heroes was chosen as one of the members of our group is in the RAF and will be going out to Afghanistan later in the year. Help for Heroes is close to our hearts.
