Tom is doing this as part of a personal challenge he has set himself, 30 challenges for turning 30. This will be Challenge 20, and has so far taken on a couple of marathons, trekking to Everest Base Camp, cycling from London to Paris (with Adam), Triathlons, an Ultra Marathon and many other endurance events. For Adam this has always been something that he was keen on doing and wants to support his mate as he takes these challenges.
