We are 4 good friends made up of two couples, who are taking on the Nation Three Peaks Challenge (aiming sub 24hrs!!!) We are very excited to be doing it and t raise money and awareness for two excellent charities.
Fundraising pageWe are raising money for Mind, as within our group we have personally been affected by a mental health illness. We appreciate all the help and support the charities like Mind Provide. It's important for those battling with a mental health illness; those who are facing their darkest days to know that they are not alone and that there are people out there who can help and support them. We are also raising money for Scope to help children with disabilities and their families to get the support that they need. Oscar (the youngest son of one of the couples) who is 2 and 1/2 years old has Cerebral Palsy. He is a very happy and determined young man. The CIMT therapy and support that he has received has helped him to improve the mobility of his left arm and hand day by day. Scope strive for equality for people with disabilities and provide guidance and support for families who face struggles like out, so this is a charity that we feel is vitally important.
