We are doing this challenge for 2 reasons; the first is the simple fact that we want to do the challenge, we want the physical and mental test and it's a good excuse to see a lot of stunning countryside in a short period of time. The second reason is to raise money for Macmillan cancer, my mother passed away in April 2018 due to cancer she always spoken very highly of the Macmillan nurses, they had a way of making a truly horrific period of her life seem bearable. It's a fantastic cause and we would like to do something to keep them going!
