Fundraising for Cancer research UK

Biological research into cancer biology by Cancer research UK has helped reveal some of the reasons cancers start, grow and spread. Understanding the fundamental biology of cancer is vital for finding cures sooner. They want to know why some patients don’t respond or stop responding to certain cancer drugs, and understand how and why some cancers spread. Because if they can get a better understanding of how cancers develop quickly and get more aggressive, then they might be able to come up with new treatments and ways to stop that from happening.
